IVC, the first provider in Spain offering Target Account Selling (TAS) to ICT industry

According to Roel Koppens, Manager of the Sales & Marketing Services department of IVC, the methodology applies to large sales cycles of product and services with high added value (Software, Hardware and consulting projects). A year ago this specific methodology hadn´t arrived to Spain, and therefore is being confused with traditional Telemarketing.

Target Account Selling (TAS) and Inside sales processes are complimentary to sales teams and optimize their results, everything managed easily through a CRM system and advanced pipeline reports.

The big difference between Telemarketing and TAS is:
- Profound training on the products and services being promoted
- Competent resources for consultative selling with relevant experience
- Quality versus Quantity of telephone calls, email communication etc.
- Creation of custom made databases composed by several sources and 1-1 selection
- Business intelligence acquired previously the call through desk research and social media
- Development of sophisticated Sales Kits based on Solution Selling and consultative sales

Nowadays IVC counts on a team of 24 professionals performing TAS - inside sales for important companies in Spain and Mexico.

On October 2nd, 2011 the law 25/2011, August 1, came into force, modifying the Law of Capital Companies and incorporating into the Spanish Legal System the European Directive 2007/36/CE, July 11, about the exercise of certain rights of shareholders in listed companies.

The new Law outlines the following:

1.	Reduction of organizational and operational expenses within the companies. To that end the following requirements are removed:

1.1	It is no longer compulsory to call the General Shareholders Meeting through the BORME (Official Gazette) and a private newspaper in the Company’s Corporate domicile, with the exception of Stock Companies “Sociedades Anónimas” (S.A) whose shares are represented by bearer shares or on the Stock Market.
1.2	It is no longer necessary to publish changes of the Company’s Bylaws in private Newspapers for these to be registered in the Mercantile Register, nor is it necessary to publish the dissolution of an S.A. in a newspaper in the Company’s domicile.
1.3	The Bylaws of the S.A. can now include two or more types of governing body organizations.
1.4	Regarding the annual accounts, it is no longer required to legalize through a Notary Public the signature of the Directors and it is also no longer necessary to publish in the BORME the list of the companies that have deposited the annual accounts.

2.	The form of a legal entity as Director of a Company is regulated and authority is given to the Directors to call the meeting of the Board of Directors if at least one third of its members agree to the venue, when the president, despite having been requested to call the meeting has not done so.

3.	Some differences between the regimes of the Limited Liability Companies “Sociedades de Responsabilidad limitada” (S.L.) and S.A. Companies are suppressed, adding possibilities which before were excluded from each type and uniting criteria for issues such as the legal causes of dissolution and the generalization of the supplementary rule about the automatic conversion of the Directors of the Company into Liquidators.

4.	The transposition into the internal legislation of the Directive 2007/36/CE of the European Parliament and the Board of July 11, concerning the exercise of certain rights of the shareholders of companies on the stock market. This with the objective of facilitating and promoting, inside the European Union, the exercise of the rights of information and votes of the shareholders of the companies on the stock market, thereby trying to guarantee that the General Shareholder Meetings are duly summoned and that the documents that must be lodged are available in time for the Shareholders to adopt a decision at the moment of the vote.

Mexico: the new BRIC!

Mexico is growing at a solid rhythm and has converted itself in the sixth best economy in which to invest. The consumption and the industrial production have not stopped increasing. Each year, 1,5 million new jobs are being created.

A domestic market of more than 100 million consumers, the North American Free Trade Agreement and direct access to the Latin American markets, make Mexico the preferred destination for Spanish investments.

IVC goes with India delegation to Hannover Industrial Fair

IVC accompanies NASSCOM delegation of mayor Indian engineering offshoring companies to this year’s Hannover Messe and closed 65 interviews with potential customers.

The key subject of the largest industrial fair in the world (more than 6.500 exhibitors) was “smart efficiency”: How to optimize industrial processes and at the same time save energy, through modern machinery, software, materials and processes. Visitors could experience state of the art technology in some cases even directly presented by the inventors.

Germany currently needs approx. 66.000 engineers, especially family owned technology companies who are the base of the famous Geman Mittelstand. Although these companies have acute needs for engineering resources, they are still reluctant to use engineering offshoring. More experienced members of our Indian delegation confirmed that the sales cycles are long (>1,5 years) and it requires patience to gain confidence of a German “Mittelstand” company.

IVC participates in the debate: how to improve people management from the HR department?

Emilío Duró and 35 Human Resources directors– in their “Lunches at the Ritz” discuss how to improve people management and direction.

Marisa Ruiz, director of Human Resources at IVC who attended the event, stood in favor of the Human Resources area as a true strategic partner of the company.

“Standing beside the general direction is essential. Being their right-hand man is key, thereby giving Human Resources a presence in the business on a daily basis. We understand the company needs and can plant flexible ideas in which the professionals truly believe.”

In addition, the IVC director pointed out that Human Resources departments must reform their orientation “in order to be more humanistic, placing more confidence in our people and giving them real opportunities to realize their potential.”
